Internal Communications Manager in Nilfisk
Reporting to the Head of Group Communications and Investor Relations, you will be a part of a team of five skilled communications professionals. Group Communications and Investor Relations support the Nilfisk Leadership Team and Nilfisk business units with relevant communication and activities to drive the implementation of and engagement around Nilfisk’ strategy Business Plan 2026. In addition, Nilfisk internal and external communications, including financial reporting is anchored in the team.
One of your key tasks would be to oversee the management of the internal news flow on our intranet channel, Nilfisk World, and to drive the daily internal communication across the company. This includes establishing a content strategy and creating engaging communication on the strategic agendas within Business Plan 2026.
Other priorities include developing leadership communication on organizational development and change management; advise HR on internal communication and employer branding activities; support the business units and regions with global townhalls, training and communications advice to managers and spokespersons. You will also be driving communication projects, such as the development of a new intranet in close collaboration with colleagues across the team and IT.

You will be working in our headquarter, close to our senior business leaders. Our current office is in Broendby, however already this fall, we are moving to Copenhagen’s Nordhavn district, where the new headquarter is located in a new and sustainable office building.
Areas of responsibility

Define a global internal communications and content strategy to support the implementation of and engagement around Nilfisk strategy Business Plan 2026

Collaborate closely with colleagues from our global markets to develop engaging content for Nilfisk employees

Drive the daily internal communication across the company

Editor on our Intranet channel, Nilfisk World

Drive the development of Nilfisk’s communications channels, e.g. a new Nilfisk Intranet

Advise executives on key communication agendas to support Nilfisk’s strategic growth journey

Advise and train spokespersons, develop communications materials

Drive the internal communication and support change management on the relocation to Nilfisk’s new head office.
Internal Communications Manager with an eye for the good story
To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications:

Extensive experience working with internal communication

Close to native English writing skills
-
Solid experience in driving content strategy and execution within large international companies

Advanced skills in establishing priorities and meeting deadlines

Experience in developing and implementing engaging internal communication

Enjoys building positive relations with colleagues in the organization

Substantial stakeholder management experience and likes working with a broad range of relations across a company

Experience with CMS systems

Video editing skills would be an advantage

Brings a can-do attitude, works well independently as well as working closely in a small team function, lending a hand where most needed

Highly structured, maintains oversight while keeping an eye on the details.
