Internship in Corporate Communications
Do you want to be a part of a dynamic communications team, where you’ll be given the freedom to support and contribute – with us recognising that you’re (of course!) still learning and growing your skillset?
We’re looking for a communications intern for 5 months, who is eager to learn and who wishes to join a Corporate Communications department in a big, global company.

The job 
Our department plays a key role in ensuring that our ~12,000 employees worldwide are continuously reminded about the difference we make in our consumers’ lives as well as understand in which direction we’re going as a company and how we’re performing. Specifically, we do this through a number of communication activities; by telling stories on our intranet, Connect, on social media like LinkedIn, or through engaging internal all staff meetings.

Right now, we’re looking for an intern to help us support our communications agenda by
  • Participating in the strategic communication planning for both LinkedIn and Connect 
  • Creating and publishing content on our corporate intranet, Connect 
  • Creating and publishing content on our corporate LinkedIn profile 
  • Participating in the development and planning of our internal all staff meetings 
Don’t worry, you won’t be going at it alone as you’ll have a great deal of interaction with the whole Corporate Communications team. We won’t, however, control your every step, as we all know how frustrating it can be to be micromanaged. So, this position is ideal for a person who likes to be given responsibility from day 1, but knows when to ask for help. Here, it’s okay to jump in and speak your mind, ask questions and try out new ideas.

The position is full-time (37 hours per week) for a period of 5 months starting January/February 2020. We’re flexible when it comes to start and end date. We will cover lunch and transportation costs.

We expect you to be studying a bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably within communications, journalism or English. You’re eager to do solid communication work – whether that means writing stories or developing content for our internal all staff meetings. But more importantly, you’re eager to learn about the stuff that you don’t know.

They say that the devil is in the detail and we completely agree with that. We like things to be correct and we want to be able to put our faith in you that they are. So, if you are the type to proofread your material before sending it to 50 people, then we will get along fine. If you are the type to double-check all the slides for the management presentation, then you will fit right in. If you even think to check things that we have not asked you to, then it is the beginning of a beautiful love story.

Finally, you enjoy interacting with different cultures and being part of an international company. This also means that you speak and write English on a high level.
