Birgitte Haahr Lund is a Danish born artist and illustrator. She graduated with a MA in illustration from the Danish School of Design in 2002 and a MA in Fine Art from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London in 2005. Birgitte has been based in the UK since 2004 but has travelled the world and also lived in both Reykjavik on Iceland as well as Tokyo in Japan. She currently lives and works on the South East Coast of England.She works on a diverse range of commissions within the illustration, art and education world. Amongst most recent commissions is a children’s book about Danish furniture designer Hans Wegner, this in collaboration with a Danish Art Museum as well as several commissions for UK fashion label, Whistles.
